A thousand colourful bubble blowers are to be handed out to revellers in Bolton centre.

ARCHIVES from Prestwich Asylum have been used to create a unique history lesson for high school pupils.
The asylum opened in 1851 and eventually became Prestwich Hospital, before closing in 1994.
The Bury New Road centre now provides specialist mental health and substance misuse services to the wider North West.

Year 8 pupils at the school took part in a competition to design posters for a healthy heart project to run throughout December.
